Paul McCartney concertWhat other recordings do I have? Back in 1999 New Earth Records released a CD from Chinmaya and myself called Celtic Ragas. Paul McCartney’s secretary called New Earth Records up and asked if we could come and play the music for him and (at that time) his squeeze, Heather Mills. So we did.

1 Giant Leap – Bombardment

Speaking of One Giant Leap here is a little excerpt, which is a tiny taste of the genius of that whole concept, and monument to the unbelievable execution of the concept. Peter Gabriel would be proud cause world music doesn’t get any bettah.

Watchtower music video release

All Along the Watchtower music video by Jamie St ClairJust now released the All Along the Watchtower music video, so good to see it getting good response. Praashekh is happy with it (sarod player on the track). Remembering how we put that video together … Anil Sethi, producer for the video, pulled it together majorly, got Maneesh in for the second camera, Anil held camera 1, he got the location in the dark/smoky restaurant for the Joker/Thief scene together, and pulled in Samya for the waitress role, as well as help on props – he simply took care of it. Like a producer should, and the video speaks for itself. Thank you Anil!!

Spirit Meets Rock ConcertThe Infusion Spirit Meets Rock concert Sat night, Sept 10 was great. The room was full, lots of people I hadn’t seen before,  everyone stayed after the break till the end. In fact no one wanted to leave… Watchtower was the high point, and Asalam Aleykum, the Osho music group song, also made an impression with the stop exercise. Jon, the drummer, was very impressed and was asking Puni about it, and saying how it made an impression on him. Spirit meets rock, yeh. Photo slide show of the concert with Jon, Eric, Ashik, Karen, Brian and myself are below… videos coming also…

Peter Gabriel cd

Jesus, I never want to work for me again. I’m the one designing the website, Friday night I worked will 12:30 am, went around in circles with the javascripts for the sound files, and slideshows. Today still at it. I watched a Peter Gabriel concert movie called “Growing Up” where he went on tour with one daughter singing with him onstage, and the other daughter, a film maker, filming the concert film. Which then got distributed @ the world. It pays to have connections. Anyway,

Jamie singing Sermons in videoDay 8 at Agonda Beach, Goa, India.  Yesterday A. and I had to get away, so we rented a scooter and went South. I took the video camera and on the way

Sermons in Stones video shootDay 6 at Agonda Beach, Goa, India. Got some good footage for the music video for Sermons in Stones today around 5pm, one hr before sunset. It was planned in a detailed way, but Murphy’s Law set in big time. A. was supposed to go out to the end of the rocks on the peninsula at the end of the Agonda Beach. I would have the camera set up on the beach, at what I thought was app. 1 Kilometer

Sermons in Stones music videoDay 5 at Agonda Beach, Goa, India. Getting ready to shoot the video for Sermons in Stones. Just decided last minute to include a video for Sermons. I’ve got about 60 seconds of beach, and another two minutes of drive by scenery from the rented scooter. Am hoping my friend Robert Kitilla has some aerial footage of forest/beach that I can use. Would be great for intro and ending.
